The Chicago Bulls are still actively looking for a trade partner for two-time All-Star Zach LaVine, sources told Joe Crowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

However, LaVine cautioned the public at the Bulls' media day about believing rumors.

"Whenever there's something that needs to be said, it will come from Zach LaVine or my representation," he said, per Crowley. "Everything else you can take with a grain of salt, with false narratives or whatever it may be."

Chicago reportedly proposed up to 15 different trades with multiple teams over the summer, including the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and Sacramento Kings.

LaVine, 29, has three years and roughly $138 million remaining on his contract. He also underwent season-ending foot surgery in February.

When healthy, LaVine struggled to make an impact for a Bulls team that went 39-43 last season. The UCLA product averaged less than 20 points per contest for the first time since 2017-18 and recorded a 23.5% usage rate, his lowest since he was traded to Chicago.

The Bulls will be hoping that LaVine can boost his trade value after losing star guard DeMar DeRozan to the Sacramento Kings this offseason.

Chicago begins its regular season Oct. 23 against the New Orleans Pelicans.
