Report: Jazz sign Patty Mills to 1-year, $3.3M guaranteed deal
The Utah Jazz are signing veteran point guard Patty Mills to a one-year, $3.3-million guaranteed contract, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday.
The 36-year-old is set to begin his 16th NBA season. He'll play for his sixth franchise after stints with the Portland Trail Blazers, San Antonio Spurs, Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and Miami Heat.
Mills put up his lowest scoring tally since his rookie season last year, averaging four points on 35.1% shooting from the field in 32 games split between the Hawks and the Heat.
For his career, Mills is averaging 8.8 points per game on a 38.6% clip from beyond the arc.
Mills has also become a staple on the international stage with Australia. He averaged 16.5 points with the Boomers during their quarterfinal run in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
