The Philadelphia 76ers are expected to pivot from signing Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George this summer with their plethora of cap space, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The team was previously linked to the free agent, with reports suggesting he'd play alongside the superstar duo of Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.

With nearly $60 million in cap space and a handful of draft picks to trade, they're expected to be very active this offseason in both free-agent additions and sign-and-trades.
George can sign an extension of up to four years worth up to $221 million with the Los Angeles Clippers before hitting unrestricted free agency on June 30, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
The 34-year-old earned his ninth career All-Star appearance last season, averaging 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists across 74 games.
