Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen will be re-evaluated in two weeks after he re-aggravated a previous shoulder impingement.
Markkanen's injury timeline likely rules him out for the remainder of the season. The Jazz have eight games remaining on their schedule.
The Finnish forward missed Friday's loss to the Houston Rockets due to the injury. The 26-year-old was also sidelined due to hamstring and quad injuries this campaign.
Markkanen, last year's Most Improved Player, has averaged 23.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, and two assists in 55 games this season.
Utah has been eliminated from postseason contention, ranking 12th in the Western Conference with a 29-45 record amid an eight-game losing streak.
