Cleveland Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley will be re-evaluated in one week after spraining his ankle Tuesday against the Boston Celtics, the team announced.
Mobley had already been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. The 22-year-old suffered the injury on a dunk during the third quarter of Tuesday's 105-104 win. He left the game on crutches, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania, Joe Vardon and Jason Lloyd.
The Cavs forward missed 22 games earlier this season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in December. Since his return, he's averaged 15.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 blocks, and a steal per contest.
Cleveland has been without star guard Donovan Mitchell for the last three games to a bone bruise in his knee. Max Strus is also out Wednesday against the Hawks due to a knee injury.
The Cavs are a half-game behind the Milwaukee Bucks for second place in the Eastern Conference.
