The Toronto Raptors are handing forward Kelly Olynyk a two-year, $26.25-million extension, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Monday.
The deal is the maximum Olynyk could've received via an extension.
In nine games since being sent to his hometown Raptors at the trade deadline from the Utah Jazz, Olynyk is averaging 9.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game off the bench.
However, the career 36.9% 3-point shooter has struggled with his long-range jumper since switching teams, making just five of 19 threes.
Olynyk is on his sixth NBA team since being drafted by the Boston Celtics out of Gonzaga in 2013. He's also spent time with the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, and Detroit Pistons.
