Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland plans to return Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons after missing the last 19 games due to a fractured jaw, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Garland is averaging 20.7 points, 5.9 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 20 contests this campaign. He previously missed four games at the start of the season due to a hamstring strain.

The Cavaliers got big man Evan Mobley back on Monday in a win over the Los Angeles Clippers after he missed the last 22 games following arthroscopic knee surgery. He recorded 10 points and nine rebounds in 20 minutes.

Cleveland has withstood the injuries to its core pieces, going on an eight-game win streak in January with the pair sidelined. The Cavs are 28-16, good for fifth in the Eastern Conference.
