Chicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic is expected to miss the next seven-to-10 days with a groin strain, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Vucevic missed the team's victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday after suffering the injury on Saturday. Andre Drummond started in his place, recording 24 points, 25 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks in 38 minutes.

Head coach Billy Donovan said the Bulls will play with smaller lineups with Vucevic out, according to ESPN.

Since Zach LaVine's foot injury, Chicago has won nine of its last 13 games. During that timeline, the veteran center has averaged 18.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, four assists, and a block.

The Bulls rank 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 14-18 record. They take on the Indiana Pacers on Thursday.
