T-Wolves' Edwards: LeBron is 'the main person who I try to cook'
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards hopes to add LeBron James to the list of players he's showed out against on the court.
Edwards named James as the one player he tried to "cook" the most during a recent appearance on Complex's "360 With Speedy Morman" series, but he said the Los Angeles Lakers make it difficult.
"I always try to do that versus LeBron, but it never goes as planned because they always double-team me," Edwards explained. "I always try to cook LeBron because he's the best player in the league right now. He's been the best player for a long time. So I think that's the main person who I try to cook - him or (Kevin Durant), but LeBron, they never guard me one on one."
Edwards is averaging 24.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game this season while helping to lead Minnesota to the best record in the Western Conference at 19-5.
The Timberwolves and Lakers face each other for the first time this season on Dec. 21.
