Report: Suns' Beal likely out multiple weeks with ankle injury
Phoenix Suns star Bradley Beal is likely to miss multiple weeks due to the ankle injury he suffered in Friday's loss to the New York Knicks, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Charania added that testing showed no serious ankle damage for Beal, who has only played six games since joining Phoenix from the Washington Wizards this summer.
Beal's 14.7 points per game is his lowest scoring average since his rookie year, but he's also taking a career-low 11.5 shots per game. His 42.9% clip from beyond the arc is the highest of his 12-year career.
Friday was just the second time that all three of Beal, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant were in the lineup together. All three stars have dealt with injuries during the campaign.
In large part due to personnel issues, Phoenix is 13-12 and sits 10th in the Western Conference after entering the year with great expectations.
