Milwaukee Bucks forward Jae Crowder will miss approximately eight weeks after undergoing surgery for a left adductor and abdominal tear, the team announced Monday.
Crowder suffered the injury in Sunday's loss to the Orlando Magic.
The veteran wing is in his second campaign in Milwaukee after coming over from the Phoenix Suns following a lengthy holdout.
Crowder is averaging 8.1 points and 3.9 rebounds while drilling 51.6% of his limited 3-point looks in nine games (two starts).
With Crowder out of the lineup long term, Milwaukee will lean more on All-Star forward Khris Middleton who's been ramping up a minutes restriction following an injury-riddled 2022-23 season.
