Diener signed a four-year deal with Dinamo Sassari of the Italian Serie A league on Sunday, Sportando reports.
Diener has not played in the NBA since the 2009-10 season. He averaged 16.4 points and 7.1 assists last year with Dinamo Sassari. The likelihood of Diener making a return to the NBA seems slim at this point with a four-year contract overseas.
