Houston Rockets rookie guard Amen Thompson is expected to miss the remainder of Summer League after suffering a Grade 2 ankle sprain that'll sideline him for three-to-four weeks, a source told ESPN's Marc J. Spears.
Thompson will need to wear a boot for a week, Spears adds.
The 20-year-old landed awkwardly after trying to block a shot attempt from Portland Trail Blazers center Ibou Badji on Friday. Before exiting the contest, Thompson recorded 16 points, five assists, four boards, four blocks, and three steals in 28 minutes played.
Other players of note on the Rockets' Summer League roster include Jabari Smith, Cam Whitmore, and Tari Eason.
Houston drafted Thompson with the No. 4 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
