Knicks sign DiVincenzo to 4-year, $50M deal
The New York Knicks are bringing in guard Donte DiVincenzo on a four-year, $50 million contract, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The former national champion at Villanova will rejoin college teammates Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart in New York.
DiVincenzo started his career with the Milwaukee Bucks after being drafted with the No. 18 pick in 2018. He spent three-and-a-half seasons in Milwaukee before being shipped off to the Sacramento Kings halfway through the 2021-22 campaign.
The Delaware native enjoyed a renaissance last year after signing a one-year deal with the Golden State Warriors. He averaged a personal-best 3.5 assists per game and a 39.7% clip from beyond the arc while scoring 9.4 points across 72 contests.
DiVincenzo is set to play a similar role in New York as he did in Golden State, providing key minutes as a fixture on the wing, shifting between the starting lineup and bench.
