Alabama's Brandon Miller is the heavy betting favorite to be selected second overall by the Charlotte Hornets in Thursday's 2023 NBA Draft.

The forward's odds to be picked behind Victor Wembanyana moved +175 to -400 early Wednesday morning following a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

"Miller continues to be the focus for the Hornets at number two," said Wojnarowski.

The drastic change in odds vaults Miller past Scoot Henderson, a guard coming out of the G-League.

Wojnarowski added that the Hornets prefer Miller's positional fit alongside their current franchise-level point guard LaMelo Ball.

Miller and Henderson have been jockeying for position atop the oddsboard for the second overall pick in the days leading up to the draft. But this substantial move with the draft only a day away suggests oddsmakers believe the Hornets have made their decision.
