Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George will be re-evaluated in two-to-three weeks after suffering a sprained knee in Tuesday's loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, the team announced Wednesday.

George's timeline likely keeps him out for the rest of the regular season. The 38-35 Clippers are currently the Western Conference's No. 5 seed and just 1.5 games out of needing to compete in the play-in tournament.

The forward was helped off the floor and into the locker room Tuesday after landing awkwardly while trying to grab a rebound. He did not return to the contest.

The eight-time All-Star is in the midst of another solid season for the Clippers, averaging 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while making 37.1% of his 3-pointers.
