Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry plans to return from a leg injury Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers, sources told TNT's Chris Haynes.

Curry hasn't played since Feb. 4 due to multiple left leg injuries but recently began participating in team scrimmages.

The Warriors reportedly expected him to return sometime during their upcoming three-game road trip, which begins against the Lakers.

Curry missed the team's home games Thursday and Friday. He'll be re-evaluated before the road trip, according to ESPN's Kendra Andrews.

Golden State won five straight contests and is 7-4 in Curry's absence, which spanned through the All-Star break.

The 34-year-old is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists, and 6.3 rebounds per game. He played in 38 of the team's 63 contests so far this season.
