Carter-Williams back in NBA, signs reported 2-year deal with Magic

The Orlando Magic signed free-agent guard Michael Carter-Williams, the team announced Sunday.
The 31-year-old inked a two-year deal with a team option for the 2023-24 campaign, The Athletic's Shams Charania reports.
Carter-Williams played 88 games for the Magic between 2019-21, averaging 7.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 21.1 minutes per contest.
The 2014 Rookie of the Year has played for six teams over eight seasons, most notably the Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks.
Orlando sits 13th in the Eastern Conference with a 25-36 record. The Magic take on the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday, with tipoff scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
