Green, Tate suspended for leaving bench during Rockets-Kings altercation

The NBA suspended Houston Rockets wings Jalen Green and Jae'Sean Tate for one game after they left the bench during Friday's altercation involving teammates Garrison Matthews, Tari Eason, and Sacramento Kings guard Malik Monk.

Matthews was fined $35,000 for initiating the altercation and taunting Monk, who was fined $25,000 for continuing the altercation and taunting Matthews. Eason was fined $30,000 for escalating the interaction and making inadvertent contact with a game official.

All three players were assessed technical fouls and ejected during the fourth quarter of the Kings' 139-114 win.

Green and Tate will be under suspension Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
