Luka declines to rank LeBron: 'I just enjoy great basketball players'
LeBron James' ranking among the all-time greatest NBA players continues to be a popular topic, but Luka Doncic isn't interested in taking part in the discussion.
When asked Friday where he would rank the Los Angeles Lakers star, Doncic declined to provide an answer.
"I'm not doing the rankings stuff, man," the Dallas Mavericks guard said. "I just enjoy great basketball players, and that's it. I mean, he's an amazing player, exceptional player, but I'm not doing the rankings stuff."
James appears poised to reach another career milestone Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers, as he enters the game just 11 points away from the 38,000 mark. He's less than 400 points away from breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time record.
Doncic, meanwhile, is in the midst of a career year, averaging 33.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists through 40 games.
