Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac has been assigned to the franchise's G League affiliate, the Lakeland Magic, indicating a return to NBA action in the near future.
The 25-year-old missed two consecutive seasons and the first 41 games of the current campaign after suffering a torn left ACL in August 2020.
In 34 games during the 2019-20 season, Isaac averaged 11.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 steals, and 2.3 blocks.
He's in the second season of a four-year, $69-million contract than runs through the 2024-25 campaign.
The Magic selected Isaac with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
