Veteran point guard Goran Dragic agreed to a one-year, $2.9-million deal with the Chicago Bulls, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Dragic averaged 7.3 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.2 rebounds in 16 regular-season appearances with the Brooklyn Nets this past season.
The Slovenian guard was originally traded to the Toronto Raptors last offseason in the Kyle Lowry deal. Dragic suited up in five games for the Raptors before stepping away from the team due to personal reasons in November.
Toronto shipped him to the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline for Thaddeus Young, Drew Eubanks, and a 2022 second-round pick. The Spurs ultimately bought him out, clearing his way to sign with Brooklyn.
The former All-Star has a career average 13.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.1 rebounds. Dragic was named the league's Most Improved Player and made third-team All-NBA in 2014.
The Bulls retained All-Star guard Zach LaVine on a five-year, $215-million maximum contract this offseason while also adding former All-Star center Andre Drummond on a two-year, $6.6-million deal.
