After blowing a 17-point lead to the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, Atlanta Hawks wing Bogdan Bogdanovic shared his beliefs on what's causing the team's lackluster campaign.
"We lost that identity on how to win games," Bogdanovic told The Athletic's Chris Kirschner. "We executed bad. We didn't find a way to win the game."
Boston outscored Atlanta 56-33 in the second half, even with Celtics wing Jaylen Brown exiting the game early with a sprained ankle.
"When you're up 15, and they lose one of the top two guys on the team, and if you're not able to win that game, you're not a good team."
The Hawks - who gave up 136 points to the 12th-seeded San Antonio Spurs earlier in February - are 25th in defensive rating this season at 113.1 points per 100 possessions.
This isn't the first time a team member has called out Atlanta's struggles, as center Clint Capela also said he wasn't shocked with the squad's performance.
The Hawks currently have a 29-32 record, good for 10th in the Eastern Conference, and will face another quality side on Thursday when they host the East's No. 2 seed Chicago Bulls.
