Philadelphia 76ers guard Danny Green has seen his share of talented players during his 13-year career, but he had especially high praise for teammate Joel Embiid after the big man was named to his fifth straight All-Star starting lineup.

"He's Shaq with footwork and touch. We've never seen a big man with guard skills like him," Green told The Philadelphia Inquirer's Keith Pompey on Thursday.

Embiid is on track for another dominant season, scoring 28.9 points per game with 10.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 blocks while hitting almost 50% of his field goals.

Both the point and assist totals are career highs for Embiid, who's also on track to set a new personal best for 3-pointers this season.

The 27-year-old's all-around performance has been crucial given the absence of co-star Ben Simmons. Despite missing the All-NBA defender, the 76ers sit just two games back of the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 29-19.
