Atlanta Hawks forward Solomon Hill is expected to miss the remainder of the 2021-22 season after suffering a right hamstring tendon tear, the team announced Wednesday.

Hill suffered the injury in Sunday's home loss to the Charlotte Hornets and will undergo surgery to repair the ailment.

The 30-year-old role player had a tough start to the season, his second with Atlanta. In 10.7 minutes per game, Hill averaged just 0.6 points on 15% shooting from the floor to go along with 1.8 rebounds.
