The Toronto Raptors are signing forward Dalano Banton, the team announced on Saturday.
Banton's deal is a two-year, $2.5-million pact, The Athletic's Shams Charania and Blake Murphy report.
The Toronto native recently became the first Canadian the Raptors have drafted in franchise history. The 46th overall pick is currently playing with Toronto in the Las Vegas Summer League.
The 21-year-old is averaging 7.7 points, six rebounds, and 2.3 assists through three summer league appearances.
In addition to Banton, the Raptors also selected Scottie Barnes (No. 4 overall) and David Johnson (No. 47) during the 2021 draft.
