Stephen Curry is receiving the documentary treatment.

A24 has green-lit "Underrated," a documentary film about Curry's rise to stardom at Davidson College, according to Patrick Hipes of Deadline. Ryan Coogler and Pete Nicks will produce the project for Proximity Media alongside Curry and Erick Peyton for Unanimous Media.

Curry played three seasons at Davidson and helped lead the Wildcats to the Elite Eight of the 2008 NCAA Tournament, when they fell to the eventual champion Kansas. He remains the Wildcats' all-time leading scorer with 2,635 points over 104 games.

Davidson honored the Golden State Warriors star in 2017 by renaming the student section at Belk Arena "Section 30" after his jersey number.
