Clippers draft Grimes at No. 25, reportedly on Knicks' behalf

With the 25th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Clippers selected Houston guard Quentin Grimes.

Grimes will be on the move to the New York Knicks. The Knicks acquired the pick, along with a future second-rounder, in exchange for the rights to the No. 21 pick, Keon Johnson, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Grimes averaged 17.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, two assists, and 1.4 steals per game as a junior with the Cougars last season.
