Both the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers will continue to play without their signature stars in Game 2 in the Western Conference finals.
Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Suns point guard Chris Paul were both ruled out.
Leonard, an All-NBA first-team member, missed his club's last three games with a right knee sprain. Paul, an All-NBA second-team guard, missed Sunday's series opener due to the league's health and safety protocols.
The Suns took Game 1 by a score of 120-114 on their home floor, thanks in large part to Devin Booker's monster 40-point, 13-rebound, 11-assist triple-double. For the Clippers, Paul George scored 34 points.
Game 2 tips off Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
