The NBA announced Thursday that Toronto Raptors guard Jalen Harris has been banned following a violation of the league's anti-drug program.
The 22-year-old is eligible to apply for reinstatement in one year.
Harris was selected with the No. 59 pick out of Nevada last year. In 13 appearances for the Raptors, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard averaged 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in just over 13 minutes per game.
Harris was set to become a restricted free agent this summer.
