NBA weekend player props: Big spots for Ingles, Young

We went 1-3 on Wednesday's player props. After deciding that was enough losing, we swept Thursday's card with four winners.

To make sure you're covered over the weekend, here are some more bets to consider the next few days.

Joe Ingles over 1.5 made threes (Friday)

The best part of the second round is picking which Jazz player will go off from the perimeter. We won while betting Donovan Mitchell in Game 2 (6-of-12 shooting) and Game 3 (5-of-9); Bojan Bogdanovic in Game 4 (2-of-5); and Royce O'Neale in Game 5 (2-of-8).

On Friday, it's Ingles' turn to light it up.

The 33-year-old was pivotal in Game 2 and through to Game 4, with three straight 19-point evenings and 14 total 3-point makes. He threw up a dud in the Game 5 loss while going 1-of-5 shooting, but Ingles continues to get solid looks from beyond the arc.

The veteran has recorded multiple makes in 12 of his last 19 games, and he could benefit from playing in the Staples Center, where Ingles is 10-of-15 shooting over his last two outings.

Terance Mann over 9.5 points (Friday)

Mann was sensational during Kawhi Leonard's absence Wednesday.

The Florida State product picked up 13 points in 26 minutes, and he produced a poster while dunking over the Defensive Player of the Year.

Mann is averaging 6.2 points per game this season when Leonard plays, and 9.3 when Kawhi sits. That discrepancy and the potential for more minutes are both good enough for me to take the over.

Trae Young over 37.5 points + assists (Friday)

We faded Young's points and assists total in Game 2, and he wound up with a postseason low (32). He's been solid ever since while averaging 41.7 combined points and assists over the Hawks' last three games.

Young owns the fifth-highest playoff usage rate among players who have logged seven-plus postseason games. Back at home with a chance to send the No. 1 seed packing, his fingerprints will likely be all over this one.

Seth Curry under 2.5 assists (Friday)

The 76ers need Curry's scoring more than his passing.

The veteran shooting guard - who averaged just 12.5 points per contest during the season - has provided a serious lift for the Sixers' offense in the second round while averaging 21.4 points.

Meanwhile, he's been held under his assist total in five of the team's last seven games, and Curry will face a Hawks defense allowing the eighth-fewest assists in the league over the club's previous 15 contests.

Kevin Durant over points (Saturday)

This handicap is simple: I could go to bed at night with some peace knowing I bet the league's purest scorer in a Game 7 at home. Take the point-total over at 35.5 or better.
