Report: Pistons' Grant aims for Saturday return from knee soreness

Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant plans to return for Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.
The 27-year-old has missed the past four games due to right knee soreness. His reported timeline would also see him miss Thursday's contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies.
Grant, known predominantly as a defensive role player earlier in his career, has enjoyed a breakout season as the focal point of the Pistons' offense. He's averaging 22.5 points and 2.8 assists - both career highs - along with 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in over 34 minutes per game in 2020-21.
The Pistons are currently 19-47 (.288) to sit last in the Eastern Conference.
