Orlando Magic head coach Steve Clifford cleared the league's health and safety protocols and is expected to return to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Clifford has been sidelined since testing positive for COVID-19 on April 24.
Orlando has gone 2-3 under interim coach Ty Corbin, though the team was well outside of the playoff picture before Clifford's absence and have since been eliminated from contention altogether.
The Magic are 94-123 (.433) under Clifford dating back to the start of the 2018-19 season and managed to qualify for the postseason in the previous two campaigns.
