The Toronto Raptors are signing forward Freddie Gillespie to a two-year deal, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania and Blake Murphy.

Gillespie averaged 5.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and one block in 16 minutes per game during his two 10-day contracts with the Raptors. Prior to joining Toronto, the 23-year-old impressed in the G League bubble as a member of the Memphis Hustle, producing 10.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks in 15 contests.

Gillespie played two seasons at Baylor before going undrafted. He earned a Big 12 All-Defensive team selection and All-Big 12 second-team honors during the 2019-20 campaign.
