Seven of 456 NBA players tested positive for COVID-19 in the last week, the league announced Wednesday.

The league reported two positive tests the week prior.

Many of the positives cases are isolated to the Toronto Raptors, and the spread appears to be due to inconsistent mask-wearing by coaching staff members, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The league doesn't publicly disclose positive tests, but five Raptors players and several members of the coaching staff - including Nick Nurse - aren't active due to health and safety protocols.

Toronto plays the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday after the game was delayed one day due to contact tracing. The Raptors' Monday game against the Chicago Bulls was postponed.

The Raptors have been playing their home games in Tampa this season due to United States-Canadian border restrictions.
