NBA Thursday player props: 1 bet for each game

Zach LaVine exploded for 37 points, Seth Curry knocked down three triples, and we enjoyed our second straight profitable night in the NBA player prop market on Wednesday.

With only three games on the board Thursday, we'll pick a best bet from each. Here's what stands out.

Pascal Siakam over 4.5 assists

Fred VanVleet was the headliner in the Raptors' win over the Bucks just two days ago. We bet the over on the star guard's points, and all he did was pour in a team-high 33.

I have a hard time imagining Milwaukee getting burned by VanVleet twice in the span of three days. Instead, let's turn to Siakam.

The reigning All-Star couldn't get a shot to fall Tuesday. He went 8-of-23 from the field and 2-of-8 from three against a defense allowing the second-lowest shooting percentage to centers this season.

Siakam did contribute in other ways - he posted six assists, which is where bettors should look for Thursday's rematch.

The Bucks held Siakam to woeful 36.9% shooting (31-of-84) over their previous four meetings, so look for the fifth-year big man to pile up the dimes again. He's quietly notched at least six assists in five of his last eight outings.

Kyrie Irving under 4.5 rebounds

I wanted to play a point total in this electric non-conference matchup but couldn't find any value. We'll settle for Irving under 4.5 rebounds. He's probable for tonight against the Lakers but is on track to play.

Not only has the Nets guard been held to four or fewer boards in three of his last four, he doesn't give over bettors a high ceiling. Irving hasn't recorded more than five rebounds since Jan. 25 - a span of 10 games.

To top it off, the Lakers allow the seventh-fewest rebounds to shooting guards at 6.10 per game.

Bam Adebayo over 34.5 points+rebounds+assists

The Kings' defense has been nonexistent this season. The unit ranks last in the league in efficiency and has four players in the bottom 40 of Defensive Box Plus/Minus this season. The worst of those has been Bagley, who'll have his hands full against Heat big man Bam Adebayo.

While Brooklyn's been scrutinized for its interior defense, Sacramento's been equally bad, surrendering 51.9 points per game. Overall, the Kings allow the fourth-most points, second-most rebounds, and most assists per contest to centers, giving Adebayo one hell of a matchup here.
