The NBA fined Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray $25,000 for striking the Dallas Mavericks' Tim Hardaway Jr. in the groin area during the third quarter of Monday's game.

Murray received a flagrant-2 foul and was ejected for the incident.

"I guess he was just frustrated that they didn't call a foul," Hardaway said postgame, according to Schuyler Dixon of The Associated Press. "I was just trying to do the best I can to deny the ball. The rest of it speaks for itself. It happens in a game."

The Nuggets won the contest 117-113.
