Veteran Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum sat out the second half of Saturday's game versus the Atlanta Hawks after suffering an injury to his left foot.
However, coach Terry Stotts said postgame that an MRI revealed the ailment to be "nothing more than a sprain," according to NBC Sports Northwest's Jamie Hudson.
McCollum played until halftime after suffering the injury in the first quarter, according to Trail Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl. The 29-year-old two-guard finished with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting with one assist and one block in 19 minutes of action.
