The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Thon Maker to a non-guaranteed training camp deal, Cleveland.com's Chris Fedor reports.
Maker was selected 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2016 draft. He played sparingly for the Detroit Pistons in 60 games last season, averaging 4.7 points and 2.8 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per contest.
The 23-year-old became a free agent after the Pistons elected not to issue him a qualifying offer.
Twenty players are now set to report to the Cavaliers' training camp. Camps are set to open Dec. 1.
