The Toronto Raptors reacted quickly Sunday after reportedly losing Marc Gasol.
Toronto and free-agent center Aron Baynes have agreed to a two-year, $14.3-million contract, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The Raptors also lost big man Serge Ibaka to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The 33-year-old Baynes has been a solid defender throughout his career and had his best campaign offensively last season with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 11.5 points on 35% 3-point shooting.
The Raptors also signed Chris Boucher to a two-year, $13.5-million contract Sunday, his agent told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Boucher became a restricted free agent last week when Toronto extended him a qualifying offer.
