Report: Melton re-signs with Grizzlies on 4-year, $35M deal

The Memphis Grizzlies agreed to a new contract with point guard De'Anthony Melton worth $35 million over four seasons, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Melton averaged 7.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 19.5 minutes per game in 2019-20 as one of the primary backups to Grizzlies star Ja Morant.

The 22-year-old was selected No. 46 overall in the 2018 draft.
