Suns select Jalen Smith with No. 10 pick

With the No. 10 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns selected Jalen Smith, a sophomore forward out of Maryland.
Smith elevated his play across the board in his second year with the Terrapins, averaging 15.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks over 31 games. His play earned him spots on both the All-Big Ten first team and the conference's All-Defensive team.
The 6-foot-10 big man also showed improvement on his shooting touch, hitting 36.8% on 2.8 attempts from deep per game and converting 75% of his free throws.
