The draft, set for Nov. 18, will take place virtually from ESPN's studios in Connecticut, the network announced. NBA commissioner Adam Silver and deputy commissioner Mark Tatum will appear in studio to announce the selections for the first and second rounds. Select draftees will appear virtually.

The Minnesota Timberwolves hold the first selection in the draft. Expected top-five picks include LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman, Obi Toppin, and Deni Avdija.

The virtual draft format has been used this year by the NFL, NHL, and MLB.
