LeBron: 'We're thinking about the Bryant family' after Game 2 win

LeBron James reflected on the significance of the team's most recent victory Friday after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Miami Heat in Game 2 while wearing their commemorative Black Mamba jerseys to honor Kobe Bryant.

"It’s always special to be able to represent someone that meant so much, not only to the game but obviously to the Lakers organization for 20 plus years," James said about Bryant during his postgame interview.

"We're thinking about the Bryant family, Vanessa, and their daughters. They're with us, and we're with you guys. We love you guys, and hopefully, we're making them proud by wearing these uniforms tonight and throughout the course of the postseason."

The Lakers improved their record in the Black Mamba jerseys to 4-0, thanks in large part to James and Anthony Davis' efforts. The duo totaled a combined 65 points during the wire-to-wire 124-114 victory.

L.A. looks to take a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Heat with a Game 3 win on Sunday. The matchup will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
