LeBron James has a 2-0 series lead for the first time in his 10 NBA Finals.

James led the way Friday with 33 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists as the Los Angeles Lakers beat the undermanned Miami Heat 124-114. The Lakers can now take a commanding 3-0 lead on Sunday.

Anthony Davis also had a huge night with 32 points on 15-of-20 shooting. Miami's Meyers Leonard started in place of center Bam Adebayo, who was out due to a neck injury, but provided little resistance to Davis. L.A.'s All-Star big man scored 15 of his 32 in the third quarter, shooting 7-of-9.

James cooled in the fourth as the Heat attempted to make a late run, but added 10 points in the final period to help put the game away.

The Lakers again had success attacking the Heat's zone defense, going 33-for-50 on 2-point shots. Additionally, the team set an NBA Finals record with 47 shots taken from beyond the arc - but only converted on 16.

Jimmy Butler had a solid game with 25 points and 13 assists with both Adebayo and point guard Goran Dragic absent, and Kelly Olynyk put up 24 off the bench.

L.A. is now 20-1 when James and Davis combine for 60 points or more, according to Elias Sports.
