The Atlanta Hawks are hiring former NBA forward Landry Fields as an assistant general manager under Travis Schlenk, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 32-year-old Stanford graduate has been serving as the general manager of the San Antonio Spurs' G League affiliate in Austin since last September, after joining the franchise as a scout in 2016.
Fields played five years in the league from 2010-15 - two with the New York Knicks and three with the Toronto Raptors - averaging 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He was an All-Rookie First Team selection in 2011.
