Portland Trail Blazers forward Zach Collins will be re-evaluated in one week after an MRI revealed a Malleolar stress reaction in his left ankle, the team announced Wednesday.

Collins exited Saturday's play-in game against the Memphis Grizzlies due to ankle inflammation. The Blazers are officially ruling him out for Game 2 of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday after the 22-year-old missed Game 1. He's also expected to miss Games 3 and 4.

Collins - who missed significant time during the regular season after undergoing shoulder surgery - has averaged seven points and 6.3 rebounds per game in 11 contests.

Wenyen Gabriel started in place of Collins in Portland's Game 1 victory Tuesday. It's unclear whether he'll remain in the team's starting lineup.
