Veteran wing Terrence Ross has left the NBA's campus at Walt Disney World to undergo off-site medical testing, the Orlando Magic announced Monday.

The team emphasized that the matter is not related to COVID-19.

Ross has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets and will need to pass the NBA's quarantine protocols in order to re-enter the bubble.

The 29-year-old Washington product has served as the Magic's top reserve option this season. He's averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.1 steals in 27.4 minutes per game in 2019-20.

The Magic were already dealing with a slew of injuries, including a pair of major long-term absences in the frontcourt rotation. Third-year forward Jonathan Isaac suffered a torn ACL in his left knee on Aug. 2, while veteran forward Al-Farouq Aminu has been out since November with a torn right meniscus.

Additionally, guard Michael Carter-Williams has missed the team's last three games with a foot injury, forward Aaron Gordon left Wednesday's loss to the Toronto Raptors with hamstring tightness, and guard Evan Fournier missed Sunday's loss to the Boston Celtics with a non-COVID-19 illness.

Despite the lengthy injury list, the Magic clinched their second straight playoff appearance Friday with the Washington Wizards' loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. Orlando will face the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the 2020 playoffs after the seeding phase concludes on Aug. 14.
