LeBron: Being away from family in bubble is 'huge challenge'

LeBron James admits he's been feeling homesick since arriving at Orlando's Walt Disney World for the NBA restart.

"I miss the hell out of my family," the Los Angeles Lakers star said Monday, according to Mark Medina of USA Today. "My wife, my kids, my mother, and so on, and so on. So, it's a huge challenge."

The 2019-20 NBA season is slated to conclude in mid-October, so it could be a while before James is back in L.A. with his wife, Savannah, and their children, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. James typically stays off social media during the playoffs, but that won't be the case this year, as he wants to remain connected to his family and use his platform to spotlight social justice issues.

The Lakers clinched the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference playoffs for the first time in a decade with a 116-108 win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night.
