New Los Angeles Lakers guard JR Smith underestimated just how many pairs of underwear he would need inside the NBA bubble.
In an interview with Allie Clifton of Spectrum SportsNet, Smith said he wishes he packed more than seven pairs of underwear for the trip, which could last as long as three months.
"Honestly, I packed, like, seven 'cause I figured I'd be good for once a day, but then I ain't calculate all the showers in between everything that I be doing," Smith said. "So I be running through them in like two, three days. We got a good laundry system, though."
Smith and the Lakers will face the Dallas Mavericks in their first scrimmage Thursday night.
